Our queer bar's IG and FB page suspended mid July. Anyone else in Melbourne/Sydney?

I do the socials for a small LGBTQ+ venue in Melbourne. Our Instagram and Facebook page were suspended about two weeks ago, the same week as a couple of other venues we know. The reason says adult sexual solicitation. It's literally drag show flyers, trivia nights and photos of the bar. We suspect mass reporting but there's no way for us to know. What we've done so far: appealed both, screenshotted everything, moved the program to our website and started a mailing list. Someone told us small businesses can go to the ASBFEO? Has anyone actually used it for a Meta suspension?

  1. Yep, the Small Business Ombudsman has a dispute form for digital platforms. They can't force Meta to do anything but they can raise it with them. A mate's salon used it, took a few weeks to hear back. Have your ABN and screenshots ready.
