Pagué por Meta Verified en la cuenta de mi esposo solo para hablar con una persona. "La decisión es definitiva". Genial, genial, genial.

So my IG (9 years, ~3k followers, I sell pottery) got disabled 2 weeks ago, no reason given beyond 'Community Standards'. Appeal denied in like 6 minutes. Everyone online says get Meta Verified to reach real support. Problem: you can't buy it on a disabled account. So I bought it on my husband's FB, $14.99, opened the support chat and explained it was about MY account. Agent was polite, I'll give them that. Then: 'I understand your frustration, however the decision on this account is final and I'm unable to make changes.' Asked if they could escalate. 'I'm unable to escalate disabled account decisions.' Asked what the violation even WAS. Got a link to the Community Standards. So I paid $15 to be told no by a person instead of a robot. Progress? Cancelled it right after. Just posting so people know what they're paying for. Your mileage may vary but I wouldn't count on it.

same experience in november. from what i can tell MV support is mostly for ads/business stuff, they seem to have basically zero power over disables

I'll be the counterpoint, my friend got hers back 2 days after an MV chat. But hers was a hacked account, not a 'violation' one. I think that makes a big difference.

@Lena K yeah that makes sense actually. hacked vs disabled seem like totally different queues

did the same thing last week. agent told me to just make a new account. which is literally against their own rules and gets you banned for ban evasion. you can't make this up
