À tous ceux qui portent le fardeau de l’étiquette d’« exploitation d’enfants » : vous n’avez rien fait de mal

I see a new post about this almost every day so I wanted to write something. Last year my account was disabled with that label. I'm a childminder in the north of England. I didn't sleep properly for weeks. I honestly thought the police might turn up. I didn't tell anyone because I was scared they'd think 'no smoke without fire'. What I wish someone had told me then: - There are so many of us. Teachers, parents, photographers, people who have never posted a child at all. I really don't believe a human looked at most of these. - An app disabling you is not an accusation by a person, and it's not a criminal record. - Telling a couple of trusted people made it so much lighter. Every one of them believed me straight away. - It's okay to step away from the app completely while you wait. Mine came back after 4 months. I barely use it now and honestly I'm fine. If you're in the middle of it right now, be gentle with yourself.
