Spain’s Digital Services Coordinator is the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC); in a 2025–26 case, an artist whose Instagram account was permanently deleted complained to it and also went to a German out-of-court body. INCIBE’s free 017 helpline gives confidential advice on cybersecurity problems, including stolen accounts.

Artist Emma Shapiro’s Instagram account was permanently deleted on 8 December 2025, the day after she appealed a suspension, and her lawyers complained to the CNMC of unclear reasons, no effective internal appeal and a disproportionate permanent deletion. User Rights, a German out-of-court body, confirmed it contacted Meta on 25 June 2026; at the time of the article the CNMC had not made a first assessment and Meta had not replied.
